About the Job:
We are currently interviewing for food runners/expediters at The '401 Table & Tap. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service to join us in our high-energy, family-friendly, community-oriented restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Delivering food to dining areas and private event space next door to main restaurant.
- Creation of simple sauces adhering to a specific recipe.
- Efficiently managing ticket times based on volume the restaurant experiences during service.
- Maintaining a clean work area at all times.
- Maintaining food quality and presentation as the kitchen completes food orders.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Bilingual preferred - strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work with others.
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
- Food Handlers Certification.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Performs high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Experience carrying trays preferred.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
